They may be interested in the IRA aspect -- http://sdiradio.com/ponzi-scheme-at-major-self-directed-ira-custodian-episode-86/ shows the SEC is going after Equity Trust regarding a self-directed IRA.

I was in contact with a different self-directed IRA company for several months in 2013 and 2014, they said BDirect was not able or willing to do what was necessary to set up a dealer relationship so one could buy IRA metal through BDirect.  This was many months, almost a year.  Which, in hindsight makes me wonder whether that IRA custodian was doing their jobs quite a lot better than the other IRA custodian that continued to report to beneficiaries and presumably the government that there was an IRA-qualified investment in gold, when the vault was nearly empty.

dt, that's interesting.  It would be great if you report this in person to your local FBI office.  I'm only saying this as another screwed IRA customer that did see the FBI in person.  This is the type of information and evidence they are looking for.  For you and everyone's information, your local FBI office accepts "walk-in" appointments no problems (to report victim crimes like these). I found the FBI office very helpful and willing to take down my information, they will work and forward it to the lead office.  -au
