Mostly curious... did anything come of this?

https://www.justice.gov/usao-wdtx/pr/austin-businessman-indicted-wire-fraud-scheme

Google is of no help for anything beyond the arrest in Jan 2018; and while http://www.justice.gov has the indictment information, there's zip it shows if you search on CM's name beyond the indictment.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Charles McAllister chose not to sign a plea agreement, so it will be going to trial. There were a couple of delays, but it is currently scheduled for trial starting September 30, 2019. My understanding is that he has until August 6, 2019 to sign a plea agreement, if he chooses to do so.

"delayed"... I'll just say I'm pleased with the quick reply ;-)
Good to know.  I would have otherwise assumed he had gotten off scott free.  Is there someplace 'to watch', google search tip ... or is this something you are picking up off the net?

As I find out information, I post it at http://about.ag/BullionDirect.htm.

I'm getting it from court records - the criminal case is 1:18-cr-00016-LY-1 in the Western District of Texas. You can go to places like https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/6285358/united-states-v-charles-mcallister/ to get alerts (that site is free, and provides free links to any dockets I or others with the Recap addon have downloaded) of updates (but that at times requires some combination of legal knowledge, guessing, and/or paying to download dockets).
